These are super handy for starting your motor on the ground and in the air. You’ll find that the pull starter can be hard to reach, especially in flight. If you have a surprise engine out at 100 ft you’ll need to act fast to restart your engine. This is an emergency situation and you need to be able to find and grab your pull starter as quickly as possible. Use a coiled lanyard attached to the pull starter on one end, and attach it to the harness on the other end, this way you’ll never have a problem finding your starter.
